Dr. Mataró completed a degree in MedicineInternship and Residency in Gynecology and Obstetrics in 1998 and in 2006 he obtained a PhD with a thesis centred on the impact of human immunodeficiency virus infection on in vitro fertilization results. He has been practising gynecology in several public hospitals for the last 20 years, as well as practising the subspecialty of reproductive medicine in Clinica EUGIN, Barcelona, from 1999 to 2017. He is the reference clinician for complex viral cases, a position that he continues to hold in his current clinic (CIRH). He has taken part in research projects such as Endometrial receptivity in HIV infected women receiving oocyte donationHe has participated in numerous courses and congresses and has been published in national and international publications.
