The collaboration was focused on mild, low stimulation and IVM looking at ovarian immunology in relation to the PCO syndrome. We found a similarity between inflammatory diseases and PCO in the ovary. Thus PCO might be associated with the whole body inflammatory response such as insulin resistance etc.

Professor of asthma since 2011 and currently taking care of the position as Chair professor of respiratory medicine. We have been awarded as NEXT-center for pulmonary medicine, and due to that we expect to increase our pharmaceutical research with several phase I and II studies. Before NEXT, we were mainly handling phase II trials. Lastly, we have a large sports unit, has been awarded by IOC and a global of excellence, as well as been appointed at by WADA to chair the expert panel of doping.
This collaboration was a part of Dr. Gade’s PhD dissertation in which Copenhagen Fertility Center provided patients and expertise on infertility and PCOS.
